Julia Klimova

About the Artists:

"Julia Klimova was born in southern Russia where the land's light, sun, and warmth influenced her perception of color and also helped her creativity accumulate from the childhood images of beauty in nature and life.

She has been painting and drawing since childhood.  Painting for her has always been a door to another new world.  “You know where to go,” she says, “but you only have a vague idea of what you will find there.”

Klimova strives to use vibrant but precise colors and texture to enhance the emotional message of her paintings.

She paints many diverse subjects including still-lives, portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, etc.

After studying Fine Arts in Russia and working as an interior designer, Julia moved to North America in 2003 and art became her full time career. Seen in publications such as Fine Art Connoisseur and American Art Collector, Southwest Art Magazine her pieces are avidly collected throughout Europe, the U.S. and Canada. She currently resides in Toronto. "
